Terms of Service
Effective date: [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED — actual publication date]
Last updated: [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED — actual revision date]
1. Who provides the service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED — legal entity or individual operator name and required registration/address details] (“PixelArtNow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact: support@pixelartnow.com [VERIFY INBOX AND PROVIDER BEFORE PUBLICATION].
2. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using PixelArtNow, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are 13 or older but below the age of legal adulthood where you live, you may use PixelArtNow only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. PixelArtNow is not directed to children under 13.
If you use PixelArtNow on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. The current service
PixelArtNow currently provides browser image tools that can:
- turn an image into an editable pixel pattern with an adjustable grid, limited palette, approved dithering option, cell-level edits, PNG, and a printable pixel-pattern PDF; and
- apply a square mosaic to a whole image or one rectangular selected area and export PNG/JPEG, plus WebP when supported by the browser.
The current tools are free, require no account, and add no PixelArtNow watermark. No payment, subscription, credit balance, paid entitlement, cloud project, public share link, or recovery/history service is included.
[DO NOT PUBLISH UNTIL G3 CLAIM GATE] The current architecture is designed for image processing in the browser and has no PixelArtNow business image-upload or cloud-save feature. Actual production behavior must be verified before this sentence is published.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. These Terms do not promise that current or future features will always remain available or free.
4. Your input and permissions
You may process only images and other material that you own or have permission to use, modify, transform, and download. If an image contains another person’s likeness, private information, trademark, copyrighted work, or other protected material, you are responsible for obtaining any permission required for your use.
You represent that your use of PixelArtNow and your input will comply with law and will not violate another person’s rights. PixelArtNow does not grant you a license to third-party material merely because the tool can process it.
These Terms do not grant PixelArtNow a perpetual, worldwide, transferable license to your input or output merely because you use the tool.
5. Prohibited content and use
You must not use PixelArtNow to process, create, facilitate, or distribute:
- unlawful content or material used for unlawful activity;
- material that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, likeness, or other rights;
- child sexual abuse material, child sexual exploitation, or any sexualization of a minor;
- non-consensual intimate imagery;
- material or conduct used for harassment, stalking, threats, fraud, deception, or abuse;
- malicious code or activity that bypasses security controls, disrupts the service, or places an unreasonable load on it.
You must not misrepresent PixelArtNow as an official, authorized, or partnered service of another company or rights holder.
PixelArtNow is not obligated to pre-screen or approve material you use with the tool. These restrictions still apply to your use. PixelArtNow may remove or replace its own public assets, restrict abusive access, and respond to valid complaints as permitted by law.
6. Your input and output rights
As between you and PixelArtNow, you retain the rights you already have in your input and output. PixelArtNow does not grant you rights in third-party material contained in either. You are responsible for confirming that your use and distribution are lawful.
PixelArtNow does not guarantee that an output is copyrightable, non-infringing, original, or cleared for commercial use. An output may preserve protected or identifying elements from the source image.
7. Pixelation is not secure redaction
Pixelation visually obscures details. It is not secure redaction and does not guarantee anonymization or irreversible removal. Do not rely on pixelation to protect highly sensitive information. Remove or crop sensitive content, or use a purpose-built redaction tool, before sharing.
PixelArtNow does not promise that a face, license plate, text, identity, or other detail cannot be recognized, inferred, recovered, or found elsewhere.
8. Export and accuracy limitations
PixelArtNow outputs are subject to these limits:
- PNG, JPEG, and WebP are raster formats; WebP export depends on browser support.
- JPEG is lossy and converts transparent areas to white under the current export contract.
- The pixel-pattern PDF is a printable grid with color numbers and an RGB/hex legend. It is not a vector, bill of materials, material-quantity guide, manufacturing instruction, or production-color guarantee.
- Colors can vary by source image, conversion settings, browser, display, color profile, printer, ink, and paper.
- Grid conversion, palette reduction, dithering, compression, resizing, and pixelation can remove or alter detail.
- PixelArtNow does not guarantee exact color matching, print dimensions, material compatibility, professional-production suitability, or a particular aesthetic result.
Inspect every output before using, printing, publishing, or sharing it.
9. Local work and data loss
The current tools do not include cloud save, project history, or recovery. Resetting or replacing an image, refreshing or closing the page, browser or device failure, memory limits, an interrupted export, or a service change may cause work to be lost.
You are responsible for keeping copies of source files and downloaded outputs. PixelArtNow is not responsible for restoring unsaved browser work.
10. Third-party services, links, and software
PixelArtNow may rely on third-party hosting, analytics, fonts, icons, or software dependencies and may link to third-party sites. Their services and materials may be governed by separate terms, privacy policies, and licenses. Those terms control where applicable to the third-party component.
A third-party link does not mean PixelArtNow endorses, controls, or guarantees that service. Dependency, asset, attribution, NOTICE, source-offer, font-embedding, and license obligations must be documented in the production provenance/license ledger.
11. Service changes, suspension, and abuse response
We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue the service or access to it, including to maintain security, comply with law, address abuse, protect rights, or manage technical constraints. We do not promise a service-level agreement, uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every browser/device, or preservation of a specific feature.
12. No payment terms for the current tools
The current PixelArtNow tools have no checkout, subscription, paid entitlement, or refund program. No payment is required for the current tools. If PixelArtNow later offers paid features, the applicable price, taxes, renewal, cancellation, refunds, entitlement, and payment-provider terms must be presented and reviewed before a transaction; these Terms do not authorize or define them now.
13. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PIXELARTNOW IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” PIXELARTNOW DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND THAT THE SERVICE OR OUTPUTS WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, [OWNER/LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED — OPERATOR NAME] AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, WORK, REVENUE, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO PIXELARTNOW.
THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY CAP AND ANY REQUIRED CONSUMER-LAW CARVE-OUTS ARE [LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED AFTER OPERATOR, GOVERNING LAW, USER GEOGRAPHY, AND RISK ARE CONFIRMED].
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold [OWNER/LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED — OPERATOR NAME AND COVERED PARTIES] harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, your material breach of these Terms, or material you use without required rights.
The final scope, procedure, and consumer-user carve-outs require [LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED]. Do not publish this clause as a blanket waiver of non-waivable rights.
16. Governing law and disputes
Governing law: [OWNER/LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED — do not infer from target market or server location].
Exclusive/non-exclusive venue: [OWNER/LEGAL INPUT REQUIRED].
Dispute process, informal notice, arbitration/class waiver if any, and consumer/regional carve-outs: [OWNER + QUALIFIED LAWYER INPUT REQUIRED].
Nothing in this section removes rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service, law, or our practices change. We will update the Last updated date and provide any additional notice required by applicable law. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
